JOHNSON MATTHEY PHARMACEUTICAL MATERIALS LAUNCHES
JOINT EFFORT AND NEW IDENTITIES FOR BUSINESS UNITS
Johnson Matthey Pharmaceutical Materials has launched a worldwide
joint marketing effort amongst its business units coinciding with
new market identities for three of these businesses. The new effort
has focused on the combined power of the business units to provide
cGMP API development and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical
industry worldwide. These services span the entire drug development
pipeline and include specialized expertise in controlled drug handling
and manufacturing. The launch of the new market identities coincides
with the effort to further enhance the cohesive network formed
by the combined units within Johnson Matthey’s Pharmaceutical
Materials.
The division consists of four units: Johnson Matthey Pharmaceutical
Materials - USA, West Deptford, NJ, which produces bulk API up
to 2000 gallons specializing in controlled substances; Johnson
Matthey Pharma Services (formerly Pharm-Eco) Devens, MA, a leader
in contract API manufacture (up to 500 gallons) and complex contract
chemistry services as well as separations technologies; Johnson
Matthey Pharmaceutical Materials - Ireland (formerly Cascade Biochem
Ltd.) Cork, Ireland, a leader in prostaglandin development and
manufacture; and Johnson Matthey Macfarlan Smith, Edinburgh, Scotland,
worldwide leader in controlled drug development and manufacture
as well as natural product extraction. This combined effort offers
clients a single source for their entire API outsourcing needs
around the world. Strong cGMP and regulatory compliance serve as
the basis for process research, optimization, development, validation,
scale-up, analytical methods development, custom synthesis, commercial
manufacturing (mg - metric tons), natural product extraction, extensive
experience in controlled drugs, handling of highly potent products,
as well as full regulatory support in both Europe and the US.
JM Pharmaceutical Materials will be at CPhI 2008 (September 30th
through October 2nd in Messe Frankfurt, Germany) and Informex 2009
(January 27th through 30th in San Francisco, California). Please
stop by our booth to talk about how we can serve your pharmaceutical
needs
